Katinka Herbert is a well known international portrait photographer whose work has appeared in publication such as The Guardian, Observer, Telegraph and Dazed and Confused. Her portraiture work has covered music, food and fashion, and also Mexico’s Lucha Libre scene. In a project which lasted over 8 years Katinka Herbert explored the gloriously kooky and secretive world of Mexico’s masked wrestling superheroes. Her book Slam: Lucha Libre Superheroes of the Ring was published in 2010.
